Jalan Bani Bu Hassan

Jalan Bani Bu Hassan is about 300 kilometers away from Muscat. It is bordered by Al Kamil Wal Wafi in the north, Jalan Bani Bu Ali in the south, Sur in the east, and Bidiya and Sharqiya Sands in the west. Some of the villages of the province are known for their plains, mountains, caves, and wells, such as the caves of Qihwan Mountain (Qihwan is the local name for the Arabian Tahr, which lives in the mountain).

The Golden Palm Oasis Name

Located in the village of Falaj Al Mashaikh, known for its unique palm trees called Al Mabsali, also referred to as "Tasbeel". The fruit, commonly called date, is recognized for its large size. You speak Palm Trees and Oman in one breath. Throughout its history, growers in Oman have mastered the date palm cultivation and cultural practices involved during the pre-petroleum era. About 100 years or more ago, the only currency used in this part of the world was gold. Even when money was introduced for trading and till date, gold held its value. When the sun hits the desert sand, the latter appears like golden grains. The discovery of the groundwater basins in the village in 1991 is truly a definition of an Oasis. Golden Palm Oasis is the only licensed luxury boutique desert camp South of Sharqiyah. About 300 km from Muscat via the scenic Quriyat and 65 km from Sur. Comprising of 10 spacious Royal Palm Suites, and 10 Deluxe Palm Rooms, all equipped with facilities and amenities of a deluxe hotel/resort.
